Every Monday, our community of creatives comes together for coffee and conversation (and sometimes baked goods and spontaneous dance parties). This time helps provide time to share your creative ideas and dreams with fellow artists, develop friendships and find community, and start your week off right.
These rising stars of the alt-folk music scene layer stringed instruments, harmonies, and driving rhythms in toe-tapping songs that reveal a sophisticated sense of melody.
The Hunts are a band from the southlands of Chesapeake, Virginia, made up of seven brothers and sisters who’ve been playing music together almost their entire lives. Ranging from ages 17 to 25, twin sisters Jenni and Jessi and their five brothers Josh, Jonathan, Jordan, Justin, and Jamison all learned to sing and play violin as children and spent much of their youth performing throughout their community.
After widening their following by playing at theaters and festivals around the country—and teaching themselves to play instruments like mandolin, piano, ukulele, banjo, and drums—The Hunts started experimenting with songwriting and have since recorded two albums of unique, soulful and uplifting tunes.
This will be an intimate house show and a backyard, garden experience with the band! Limited tickets available, grab your ticket below! Tickets: $20
